The swan neck pediment with carved rosettes features book-matched, olive ash burl overlays, a decorative shell overlay, and three turned urn finials.
The brushed satin brass dial offers detailed corner spandrels, center disk, a silver chapter ring with applied applied brass Arabic numerals and astrological blue moon phase with a pierced star pattern. A special 85th Anniversary Edition inscription appears within the hemispheres of the moon phase (through 2011 only).
The door features crystal-cut V-grooved glass with book-matched, olive ash burl overlays in the corners.
Plain glass appears on the upper door and sides. Removable glass topside panels offer easy access to the movement.

Brushed satin brass finished weight shells and pendulum. The pendulum features a center disk which complements the dial.
